Last weekend we took a drive down to Joshua Tree to do some camping. Normally I’m not really the camping type but my husband convinced me to go and I’m so glad he did because I had a blast. The down side was that the highs for the weekend were in the mid 40’s and the lows were in the mid 30’s but I’d take too cold over too hot any day. The first night I wasn’t really as prepared as I thought I was. I woke up almost every hour because I was freezing cold even with tons of layers and blankets. The next day I bought about 30 hand warmers and threw them all over the tent, in my sleeping bag, and in my clothes so I was nice and warm on night two. Alec and I have taken several trips out to Joshua Tree but this was one of my very first camping experiences ever. It was nice, I got to enjoy JT in a whole new way.
