Nara, Japan

It’s a new year and I’ve decided that I need to start stepping out of my comfort zone. In March I’ll be taking a solo road trip to Iceland for ten days. It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to go and I feel like it’s something I need to do alone to help me get back in touch with myself and my life and let go of all I’ve been holding on to. I’ve traveled alone many times for work but this is the first time it will be just for me and I can’t wait for this new experience. In the meantime please enjoy some photos of adorable Deer in Nara which was our third stop in Japan. We spent two nights in Osaka with a day trip over to Nara. If you want to feel like Disney princess wandering through an enchanted forest go to Nara and spend the day exploring and feeding deer. This place is so magical. The deer will walk right up to you, especially if you have food. If you get the chance to go to Japan I highly recommend making a stop in Nara.

oh dear, oh deer, so so strange, i’m having a sort of deja-vu at these. at some of these, but not all of these ! well not quite a deja-vu strictly-speaking : it feels like i’ve seen this post before, but it’s a memory that feels like it’s at least a couple of years old ! which is impossible ! (well almost impossible. perhaps you did post these pics several years ago under a different domain name and you’re recycling them now on this new domain. …nah…too unlikely. more likely my mind is not tuned exactly correctly concerning time-placement of memories. but wouldn’t i have (at that time of supposed original viewing) saved at least a few of them ? life is so strange.
