Pretty in Pink

Hey guys! I’m really excited to be collaborating with Zaful on this post. This dress kind of speaks for itself. It’s pretty great.  My sister’s bachelorette party is coming up in two weeks and we’re going to a music festival and this dress is going to be perfect. It’s light and flowy which makes it really comfortable in the heat which is so great for me because I can’t stand the heat. I grew up in Florida so you’d think I’d be used to it by now but I’m not and probably never will be. I LOVE cold weather and getting to wear layers.

Over the weekend Alec and I watched the entire season of Stranger Things, the new Netflix show. It’s so good. If you’re into science fiction, mystery, and 80’s horror films you’ll love this show. I’m not even embarrassed to admit we watched 8 hours of tv over the course of three days because the show is that good. It might be one of my new favorites. During the weekend we also painted our brown dining table and chairs white. It took all day and was not much fun but doing it together made it special. It’ll definitely be a memory I’ll always cherish. My husband is such a wonderful person. He doesn’t really care so much about changing up the house but he knows how much it means to me so he doesn’t just support it he helps me make it happen. He sits in the hot sun sweating and painting with me. He goes to Home Depot to help me pick out a new color for the bedroom that’s probably a bit too girl. For my birthday he got me a rug I’ve been pining after for a month. Sometimes I think he’s too good for me but that’s not going to stop me from holding on to him. We’ve been through so much together and there’s no one in the world I want at my side more than him.

Wanted to throw in a close up of the rings and a pic of my pup!

Pink dress, reflective sunglasses, and rings are all from Zaful.

hey there. love every pic. you matched the colour of the dress to your lipstick colour, nice touch. ….. i must say, i think it’s great that you two have such a strong bond. i’m a fairly great fan of rom-coms, and for us, as i see it, this takes us into the beyond of it. normally rom-coms are about the meeting-up and the getting together, but this … this! is the what-happens-after ! …One always imagines it turns out great for them, and through blogs like yours we can glimpse at it, confirming the dream of the happy continuance. it’s a feel-good sentiment. i’m not however a TOTAL fan of every such blog… i mean i like to find a balance of let’s say…for lack of better ability to find the right words….wishages and good-wishes. wishages–heh–i just made that word up.
