Thanksgiving (part one-Yosemite)

I kid you not, Alec and I took about a thousand photos when we went to Yosemite and Sequoia for Thanksgiving. It’s just so beautiful out there. I’ve been having a super hard time┬ánarrowing them down so I figured I’d do multiple posts.

After our anniversary night at the Madonna Inn we continued on to Yosemite. It was surprisingly uncrowded for a holiday weekend. We did some hiking and sightseeing didn’t really run into all that many people. It was nice. I like getting out of the city and away from civilization. The problem is now I’m kind of all about moving out of the city. I’ve lived in big cities most of my life and the older I get the more I’m starting to crave the calm and quiet of the countryside. All in due time though, I suppose. It would be silly for us to leave the life we’ve built in LA right now. But I think one day, way down the line, we’ll move. Until then I’m going to take full advantage of everything Los Angeles has to offer. It is a pretty great city. I know I complain a lot about not getting a proper fall and winter but 75 and sunny 365 days a year isn’t so bad.

Stay tuned for our snowy adventure through Sequoia.
